Marc invited me here. Hope to spend some time on here getting to know ya'll. My name is Kevin, I live in Navarro County, Texas and predominantly hunt in Texas and Montana, although this fall or at the very least next year I plan on hunting a number of different places. I am a freelance outdoor writer like Marc, run a hunting Web site, am an archery technician, and write an outdoor column. Marc can attest to the money we make so I still have a normal daily grind job, but hoping to change that in the not-too-far-off future. I pro staff for a number of different companies. I primarily bow hunt but love hunting with whatever legal means is available. I am an active supporter in the idea that we need to present a united front to protect our heritage. I'll have to learn about this site but my site "Just-Hunt" is just that in a nutshell. We celebrate all legal forms of hunting and encourage people to get outdoors. I have hunted and continue to hunt food plots, feeders, alfalfa fields, trails, waterholes, pinch-points, spot & stalk, still-hunting, tree stand, box stand, ground blind and natural cover hunting, free ranging, high fence, low fence, I love do and support it all. I recently also was baptized in the fine art of bowfishing on our lake near the house, the 44,000 acre Richland Chambers Lake (carp, gar). Anyway, that's pretty much it. I hunt free-ranging hogs year 'round, usually under a feeder or heavy-activity areas but also do some spot & stalk. Most of my hog hunting happens at dusk or later into the night. I take a good number of hogs with a bow in the dark. In Montana, it's still-hunting or spot and stalk only. Looking forward to getting to know ya'll. I am also a Christian guy and love to sit on stand and think God for His creation.
