Hey Boy's has any one been out with the old smoke pole, I got in last night from another trip to NY, My mom went back in the hospital and she is doing fine I am going to get her on the 10th so she will be closer to me, Muzzleloader close's on the 9th so I have a few days left to hunt, I am going out this evening for awhile Very Happy Maybe I will see that drop tine buck Very Happy Have not been over there in awhile, Where is everyone Question I don't see that many New Posts Crying or Very sad I guss I will have to post the next pic in the rack room!!!! The rut should be here shortly Very Happy or maybe it's in, I have not been out, Has any one seen any activity out there Question

Hey REDHOT, it's been busy over here for me, so I haven't been posting much. I expect some new rackroom pictures soon as the rut is in full swing over here. Stay tuned!

Hey deerhead, I bet you are BUSY Very Happy That's a good now a days Very Happy I went out this evening and did not see a darn thing but I did walk up on the BIGGEST Scrap and RUB That I have ever seen Shocked It had to be 6ft round and the branches over head were broke at least 8ft high and that rub was chest height Shocked I wonder if it is that drop tine I missed over there Exclamation I am going to hunt there on Saturday do you or anyone have any suggestions on how to hunt this scrap Question It looks and smells (strong) to be very active Very Happy Very Happy

REDHOT, hunt that scrape on a windy or rainy day as the big bucks know their scent will get covered up with the rain or leaves (on windy days). They like to check their scrapes every few hours in the rut unless they we spooked into going nocturnal.

DEERHEAD I found that scrap on the way out of the field this evening and no one else hunts this bean field, so he is not spooked, I don't know if the rut is in yet I just got home and I have to work tomorrow and can't hunt till Sat Crying or Very sad Do you think I should use some Buck lure Or Do a lil rattling and grunting or just set up about 50yds away and wait Question Question Question

I just went back to the mini mag it told me all I wanted to know Very Happy Glad I save them Very Happy I wish I could get out of work Crying or Very sad It is raining and some wind tonight and will clear out in the AM Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad I am going to get in and get out without trying to disturb that area of the field and hope he shows up why I am there (BANG) Very Happy Laughing

Yesterday was a beautiful day cold & light wind and not even a mouse moved all day long Crying or Very sad Going out this morning with the boy's, going to be another cold clear day hope they are on the move Very Happy They tell me they are chasing doe's and this is the last day of Muzzleloader and I have to go back to NY to get my Mom so No Bow Hunting this week Crying or Very sad Any way boy's GOOD LUCK AND BE SAFE IN THE WOODS I will talk to all when I get back hope to see some new pic's in the Rack Room Very Happy
